Gabriel (Gabe) Schwartz is a Co-Deputy Managing Partner at Davidson Kempner. In his role, Mr. Schwartz oversees multiple teams, including U.S. Corporates, DK Solutions and Business Management. He joined Davidson Kempner in 2009 and is based in the New York office.

Before joining Davidson Kempner, Mr. Schwartz was a Managing Director in the Special Situations Group at Goldman Sachs & Co., where he focused on distressed and private credit investments. Mr. Schwartz received a B.A., summa cum laude, from Colgate University in 2000.

He serves as a member of the Board of Trustees and as a member of the finance and academic mission & program committees at Colgate University. Mr. Schwartz also serves as Emeritus Trustee of the Brooklyn Community Foundation.
