Eric Epstein is a Senior Advisor at Davidson Kempner. Mr. Epstein joined the Firm in 2000 and is based in the New York office. He served as Vice Chairman of Davidson Kempner from 2024 through 2025. Before joining Davidson Kempner, Mr. Epstein was a Managing Director at M.D. Sass Investor Services overseeing the U.S. Sales and Marketing effort.

Mr. Epstein received an M.S. from the New York University Schack Institute of Real Estate and a B.A. in Economics from Clark University.

Mr. Epstein is a member of the Board of The Managed Funds Association (MFA), a member of the Board of Trustees of Oliver Scholars, a member of the Board of Trustees and Chair of the investment committee of Clark University, and a member of the finance committee and investment committee of The Dwight-Englewood School.
